Pop.

Spring. Colour Pops. With my minimal approach to design, I still want some colour pops. I am always looking for cool looking ideas that you can incorporate into your home. On a recent shopping excursion in Vancouver I discovered a cool place that sells indoor/ outdoor rugs. I immediately ran in after seeing a colour combo I adore. Of course I discovered it was a Swedish company. However it was no surprise as I have gravitated towards their design since being a small child! Now I know you think ‘ plastic’, but I did my research on this company, and I love that this rug will be easy to clean, as you can put it into the wash, as well it will not fade. So this carpet will not be going into the landfill. Best thing, it is not made of any animal derived products.

There are places around your house that it could easily be good in. Give that laundry room floor some jazz, or your bathroom, even a mudroom. Now my other idea for this rug is to give your kitchen table some spring colour. Why not use it as a large table runner? Find a colour you love and have some fun! And hello, when you spill some of your green smoothie, or your glass of wine, just wipe it!
