A Minimal Approch To Chistmas

My Christmas decor stays true to my style that I have year round.  I believe you can still decorate and keep your style that makes you ‘ you’.  My friends and family know I love white, and I will always gravitate towards it.  During the holiday season I just want to mix a bit of other colors for fun and a festive touch.  The trick I believe is to keep it from being busy.  I want all my pieces to have a mind of their own! This year I made some white pom pom’s with some plain acrylic white yarn, but next time would use some more fluffy yarn to make sure they keep their lightness and airy quality! Added were some fun colors that I have in my Scandinavian inspired stocking.  For our Christmas tree we wanted one of the’ ugly trees’ that usually nobody picks.  I love to see the actual tree and not all the decorations, so I just added in some small lights, and our white animal ornaments; just placed and not hung.  So in the daytime the tree looks beautiful as well as the evening.  The overall effect in our house is festive, but kept minimal.  Happy holidays…. and of course think about a plant-based diet for the new year, and a vegan lifestyle, the animals will love you and so will I!
